“Hi, I’m Tiffany. I’ve been working in mental health since 2017. In therapy, I utilize a strengths-based, client centered approach that is unique to the individual. My faith is important to me, and I also believe it is important to provide space for a client’s faith or spirituality to be a part of their session in ways that are meaningful to them.

I strive to learn, practice and expand my therapeutic knowledge as well as self-growth and wellness. I appreciate the impact these values bring to my life and our sessions.

I have a passion for helping people of all ages and look forward to supporting you on your journey to healing and health.”

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a technique used to relieve psychological stress relatively quickly compared to talk therapy. It is effective for many, and especially helpful for those who struggle to talk about their past experiences. EMDR can lessen the impact memories or thoughts have on you once reprocessing is finished.

Play Therapy

Play Therapy with children increases emotional expression while reducing the psychological distress that may come from discussing traumatic events or experiences. Play uses the preferred language of children to express, explore and process feelings. Parents and caregivers can learn the basics of play therapy to help implement therapeutic healing at home.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a mode of therapy that focuses on the brain and body connection. It accesses trauma trapped in the subcortical brain, the area of the brain responsible for motion, consciousness, emotions, and learning. Brainspotting works on the theory that feelings from trauma can become stuck in the body, leading to both physical and mental symptoms. It is thought that with Brainspotting, the brain’s memory of a particular trauma or incident is worked through and “reset” in the body and brain. This is achieved by trusting the process of the brain and less emphasis is placed on talking through a problem. The experience is genuinely unique to the individual.

Teletherapy

Teletherapy is a great option to fit therapy into your schedule based on your needs. On the go, at work, unable to travel or even out of town.

Sand Tray

Sand tray is a way to experientially explore situations, life and themes in a way that provides a new perspective for awareness and healing. This technique engages a person by externalizing what they see and feel.

Who I Help

I work with children ages 2 and up using play and/or filial therapy. Filial therapy focuses on assisting parents/guardians by aiding them with skills and tools to support their child’s mental health and therapeutic progress at home.

I also work with teens, adults, couples and families.

Therapy is like a workout for the mind.
When we stretch & pull, it aches.
But in the end,
We come out stronger.

Sand Tray Therapy

Sand tray therapy uses all of the senses which promotes the brain to be more integrated and contribute to deeper healing.

EMDR and Brainspotting

EMDR and Brainspotting are therapeutic modalities that utilize the eye and eye movements to help to reprocess trauma, difficult events and emotions.
